| Wangjiatun gas field is located in Wangjiatun anticlinal
structure of the northern Songliao basin, near Shengping town of
Anda city, Heilongjiang province. It lies 11km to Yangcao gas field
in east and overlaps with Shengping oilfield in south.
Geophysical exploration work in Wangjiatun gas field initialed in
1960 and the gas field was discovered by the industrial gas flowing
from well Sheng-61 in Jul.1985. As of the end of 1998, 53.4 km2
gas-bearing area and 123.17¡Á108m3 OGIP had been proven. Wangjiatun
gas field belongs to a medium shallow gas field with low abundance.
Its annual gas production is 2826.3¡Á104m3. As of the end of 1998,
the accumulative gas production was up to 4.73¡Á108m3 and its remaining
recoverable reserve was 15.27¡Á108m3 .
