| Pinghu condensate gas field in East China Sea
continental basin
Pinghu condensate gas field is located in Pinghu fault structural
zone of East China Sea continental basin, on the continental shelf
of East China Sea about 440 km south-east of Shanghai city and 260
km east of Dinghai of zhoushan archipelago.
In the area, oil and gas geological reconnaissance begun in 1983
and Pinghu condensate gas field was discovered as a result of the
industrial gas flowing found in well Pinghu-1 in Jun.1983. As of
the end of 1988, 12.1 km2 gas-bearing area, an OGIP 170.51¡Á108m3,
a gas condensate OOIP 306.0¡Á104t and an OOIP 597.0¡Á104t had been
proven. Pinghu condensate gas field is a medium gas field with high
abundance. The natural gas is delivered to Shanghai through submarine
pipeline after put into production in 1999.
Baoyunting condensate gas field in East China Sea continental basin
Baoyunting condensate gas field is located in Pinghu structural
belt of Baojiao slop in the western Xihu sag of East China Sea continental
basin, on the East China Sea continental shelf about 400 km south-east
of Shanghai city and about 24km north-east of Bajiaoting structure
in Pinghu field.
In the area, oil and gas geophysical survey begun during the ¡°Seventh
Five Year Plan¡± and Baoyunting condensate gas field was discovered
by the industrial gas flowing from well Baoyunting-1 in Dec.1988.
As of the end of 1998, it had proven 20.6 km gas-bearing area£¬ an
OGIP 112.06¡Á108m3£¬ a gas condensate OOIP 302.8¡Á104t and an OOIP
106.0¡Á104t. Baoyunting condensate gas field is a medium gas field
with medium abundance.
