Wolonghe gas field is located on the eastern side of a highly dipping Mingyuexia anticline of the fold belt in the eastern Sichuan basin within Changshou and Dianjiang counties, Sichuan province.

With its exploration work initialed in 1957, Jiawu gas reservoir was discovered as gas flew from well Wo-1 in March 1958. As of the end of 1984, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 29.3 km2 with an OGIP 380.52×108m3. It is a large gas field with high abundance. As of the end of 1998, its accumulative gas production had been up to 256.08×108m3.

Fuchengzai gas field is located in a low and broad anticline in Chuandong’s Dazhu syncline, Sichuan basin within Dazhu county, Sichuan province.
In the area, exploration work initialed in 1975, resulting in discovery of the surface structure . As of the end of 1984, a gas-bearing 39.0 km2 and an OGIP101.74×108m3 had been proven in Fuchenzai gas field. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. As of the end of 1998, its accumulative gas production had been up to 57.08×108m3.

Chuandong’s Dachiganjing gas field in Sichuan basin

Dachiganjing gas field is located in Chuandong’s Dachiganjing structure of Sichuan basin, about 160km east-north of Chongqing city at the northern bank of Yangtz river, across Fengdu, Zhongxian and Wanxian counties in Sichuan province.

In the field, oil and gas exploration work initialed in 1975 and the gas flowing from well Chi-1 acquired in 1978 revealed Dachiganjing gas field. As of the end of 1998, a gas-bearing area of 78.5 km2 and an OGIP 257.34×108m3 had been proven. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. Since putting into production in 1980, as of the end of 1998, its accumulative gas production had been up to 60.48×108m3.

Chuandong’s Gaofengchang gas field in Sichuan basin

Gaofengchang gas field is located in the slope zone of the east-southern limb in Wanxian syncline and on the western side of east-northern plunge crown of Chuangdong’s Dachiganjing structural zone in Sichuan basin, adjacent to Gaofengchang of Wanxian county.

With oil and gas geological reconnaissance commenced in 1962, a gas flow obtained in well Feng 3 in 1980, leading to the discovery of Gaofengchang gas field. As of the end of 1998, a gas-bearing area of 34.8 km2 and an OGIP115.68×108m3 had been proven. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. With an annual production of 2.01×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 9.36×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Shuangjiaba gas field in Sichuan basin

Shuangjiaba gas field is located in Chuandong’s Shuangjiaba subtle belt of Sichuan basin within Liangping county in the eastern part of Sichuan province.
With its oil and gas geological reconnaissance initialed in 1978, an industrial gas flow was obtained in the first well Qili-4 in Apri.1986, leading to the discovery of Shuangjiaba gas field. As of the end of 1990, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 23.7 km2 and an OGIP of 101.7×108m3. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. With an annual production of 2.36×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 22.26×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Tieshan gas field in Sichuan basin

Tieshan gas field is located in Tieshan structural belt in the eastern Sichuan province, about 20 km south-west of Dongda county.
Its oil and gas geological reconnaissance begun in 1956 and a gas flow was obtained in well Tieshan 2 well in 1986, leading to the discovery of Tieshan gas reservoir. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 18.1 km2 and an OGIP 101.28×108m3. It is a medium gas field with medium abundance. With an annual production of 2.78×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 20.83×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Wubaiti gas field in Sichuan basin

Wubaiti gas field is located in the east-northern plung crown of Datianchi structural belt in the north-eastern slope of Kaijiang paleo-uplift of Sichuan basin, across Kaijiang and Kaixian counties in the eastern part of Sichuan province.
Its geophysical exploration work initialed in 1974. As a result of the gas flowing obtained in well Dong-1 in 1989, Wubaiti Carboniferous gas reservoir was discovered. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area 140.45 km2，an OGIP 539.88×108m3, a probable gas-bearing area 21.0 km2 and a probable OGIP 112.15×108m3. It is a large gas field with low abundance. With an annual production of 4.13×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 20.15×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Longmen gas field in Sichuan basin

Longmen gas field is located in the central- southern Datianchi structural zone of the highly dipping Chuandong structural zone in Sichuan basin, across Kaijiang and Dianxian counties in the eastern part of Sichuan province.
In longmen area, oil and gas geophysical exploration work initialed in 1975 and a gas flowing obtained in well Dong-4 in 1988 revealed Longmen gas reservoir. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area 45.1 km2 and an OGIP 183.99×108m3. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. With an annual production of 3.47×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 3.59×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Shapingchang gas field in Sichuan basin

Shapingchang gas field is located in Shapingchang structure in the eastern part of Sichuan basin within Dianjiang and Liangping counties of Chongqing city.
In the area, oil and gas geophysical exploration work commenced in 1957 and as a result of a commercial gas flowing obtained in well Dong1-1 in Sept.1992, Shapingchang gas reservoir was discovered. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 70.58 km2 and an OGIP 397.71×108m33. It is a large gas field with medium abundance.

Chuanxi’s Weiyuan gas field in Sichuan basin

Weiyuan gas field lies in a gas accumulation zone of Weiyuan-Moxi dome in the south-western Sichuan basin, across Weiyuan, Zizhong and Rongxian counties in the west-southern Sichuan province.
With its oil and gas geological survey commenced in 1957, a commercial gas flow found in well Weiji on Sept.16,1964 led to the discovery of Weiyuan river gas field. As of the end of 1984, a gas-bearing area of 216.0 km2 and an OGIP 408.61×108m3 had been proven. It is a large gas field with low abundance. With an annual production of 1.23×108m3, its accumulative gas production had grown to 143.28×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuandong’s Dukouhe gas field in Sichuan basin

Dukouhe gas field is located in Chuandong’s Dukouhe structural zone of Sichuan basin within Xuanhan county of Sichuan province, adjacent to Huanglong gas-bearing structure in west-south and to Wenquanjing gas field in south.
In the area, oil and gas geological survey initialed in 1957 and a commercial gas flowing found in well Du-1 in Jun. 1979 led to the discovery of Moxi gas field. As of the end of 1999, a gas-bearing area of 31.9 km2 and an OGIP 271.65×108m3 had been proven. It is a medium gas field with abundance .

Chuanzhong’s Moxi gas field in Sichuan basin

Moxi gas field is located in Chuanzhong’s Moxi structure zone in Sichuan basin, about 25km south to Suining city in the central Sichuan province, across Suining, Pengxi and Tongnan cities.
In the area, the oil and gas surface reconnaissance initialed in 1956 and a commercial gas flowing acquired in well Moshen-1 in Jun. 1979 resulted in the discovery of Moxi gas field. As of the end of 1998, a gas-bearing area of 188.3 km2 and an OGIP 375.72×108m3 had been proven. It is a large gas field with low abundance. Since put into production in 1991, its annual gas production has reached 3.96×108m3 and the accumulative gas production had grown to 27.11×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuanxi’s Pingluoba gas field in Sichuan basin

Pinglueba gas field is located in the western Longmenshan forehill subtle zone of Chuanxi depression in Sichuan basin within Gonglai county of the southern Chuanxi in Sichuan province.
Its oil and gas geophysical survey initialed in 1985 and as a result of a commercial gas flowing from well Pinglue-1 in Jan.1990, Pinglueba gas field was discovered. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 55.9 km2 and an OGIP 165.35×108m3. It is a medium gas field with low abundance. With an annual gas production of 2.71×108m3, the accumulative gas production had been up to 8.67×108m3 as of the end of 1998.

Chuanxi’s Xinchang gas field in Sichuan basin

Xinchang gas field is located in Xinchang structural belt of the central Chuanxi depression in Sichuan basin, about 20km north of Deyang city, 80km to Chengdu city in south and about 35km to Mianyang city in north in Sichuan province.
In the area, oil and gas geophysical survey and reconnaissance initialed in the late 70s last century, a commercial gas flowing from well Chuanxiao-133-2 in 1990 led to the discovery of Xinyang gas field. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area 128.9 km2 and an OGIP 274.08×108m3 . It is regarded as a medium gas field with low abundance. Its annual gas production was 6.0 ×108m3. As of the end of 1998, the accumulative gas production had been up to 22.67×108m3.

Chuanxi’s Zhongba gas field in Sichuan basin

Zhongba gas field lies in Zhongba low anticline of Longmenshan fold belt in Chuanxi depression of Sichuan basin within Jingyou county in Sichuan province.
Its oil and gas geophysical exploration work initialed in 1969. As a result of a commercial gas flowing found in well Chuan 19 on Dec.13 1971, Zhongba gas field was discovered. As of the end of 1998, it had proven a gas-bearing area of 10 km2 and an OGIP 186.3×108m3. It is a medium gas field with high abundance. Its annual gas production was 6.09×108m3. As of the end of 1998, the accumulative gas production had been up to 107.7×108m3.
