Changde gas field is located in Anda-Zhaozhou anticlinal zone of the northern Songlioa basin within Anda city, Heilongjiang province, covering 400 km2 of exploration area.
Geophysical reconnaissance initialed in 1960 in Changde gas field and it was discovered by the industrial gas flowing from well Fangshen-1 on Jun.28 1988. By the end of 1998, a gas-bearing area of 73.8 km2 and OGIP of 117.08×108m3 had been proven. Changde gas-field belongs to a medium gas field with low abundance.
